~ Maxis Make-Over #25 ~
This house [the Maxis original] can be found in Desiderata Valley - 196 Main Street. I tried to keep the look and feel much the same as how Maxis built it, BUT make it more suited to my playing style and decorative tastes. For instance: I like stairs with a landing, and formal dining areas that are separate from the living areas... there needed to be a garage added (I hate cars parked all willy nilly about the place!) The original upstairs was just wasted space (to my way of thinking) and just what, WHAT are we supposed to do with that little dead-end hallway next to the stairs (in the original design?) *sigh*
I dunno. So, I changed it.

2022 Update: Any CC you see in the pictures has been removed - it now only has the stairs, listed below. And yes, the red roof needs to be changed... 😕
