Welcome to my Sims 2 Blog!

This blog is to keep track of all my Sims 2 (TS2) stuffeths. I mostly "build" - houses, apartments, recreational, and community lots - but, I also create walls (and murals), floors, terrain paint, and various other recolors. And I've written a few tutorials too. 😁

Courtyard Ranch with Garden

Have your simmies been workin' hard for their money? Well let them show it off a little!

The brochure reads: "A house to be looked at and lived in -- that's what this impressively formal French Provincial adaptation represents. The front court, just inside the brick wall with its attractive iron gate, sets the patterns of formality that are so apparent inside..."

This house is based on RL floor plans - Design #V11797 from a blueprint "collection" book by Home Planners, Inc. (circa 1984.)

If I lived here in RL, I would spend ALL my time in the back yard!

This lot has been play-tested; everything is accessible and in good working order. Smoke alarms are under the range hood in the kitchen, over the fireplace, and at the outside grill. The phone is on the wall in the kitchen, and the burglar alarm is by the front door. The furniture and decorations are intentionally sparse - everything for your Sim's basic needs is included. Please personalize it to meet your sims whims.

This is a clean copy if the lot - no Sim has set foot in it. The package has been cleaned with both Mootilda's Clean Installer and Chris Hatch's Lot Compressor and then double checked with SimPE - it's as squeaky as they come!

Possibly used but NOT included - so, you may need to GO get it:
- I use the Lifestyle Build Bundle wallpapers/floors ALL the time. (If you followed that link, it's the second link in the top post - extracted from Lifestyle Stories by Argon/MATY) This 'bundle' lives back in my Bins folder so it doesn't have the CC star. If you ever enter one of my builds and find it has blank/unpapered walls/floors, it is because I used ones from this bundle and forgot to mention it. So, either substitute the wall/floor of your choice, or go get this bundle and re-install the lot (from your lot bin.)
