Sims 2 Virtual Realty: Charming Suburban ~ L-Shaped 1-Story Ranch with minimal CC

Welcome to my Sims 2 Blog!

This blog is to keep track of all my Sims 2 (TS2) stuffeths. I mostly "build" - houses, apartments, recreational, and community lots - but, I also create walls (and murals), floors, terrain paint, and various other recolors. And I've written a few tutorials too. 😁

Charming Suburban

Here is a sprawling house for your hard workin' sims...

The brochure reads: "Another interesting and charming L-shaped one-story. This time with Tudor exterior styling. Contributing to the pleasing eye-appeal are the varying roof planes... and that dramatic front door with it's surrounding glass area."

This house is based on actual real-life floor plans - Design #V12961 from a blueprint "collection" book by Home Planners, Inc. (circa 1984.) As I was trying to use as little CC as possible, some of the "Tudor styling" the brochure mentions is reduced to Tudor-esque windows.

This lot has been play-tested; everything is accessible and in good working order. Smoke alarms are under the range hood in the kitchen, over the two fireplaces, and at the outside grill. The phone is on the wall in the kitchen, and the burglar alarm is by the front door. The house is fully furnished; but decorations are intentionally sparse. Everything for your Sim's basic needs is included, please personalize it to meet your sims whims.

This is a clean copy if the lot - no Sim has set foot in it. The package has been cleaned with both Mootilda's Clean Installer and Chris Hatch's Lot Compressor and then double checked with SimPE - it's as squeaky as they come!

Possibly used but NOT included - so, you may need to GO get it:
- I use the Lifestyle Build Bundle wallpapers/floors ALL the time. (If you followed that link, it's the second link in the top post - extracted from Lifestyle Stories by Argon/MATY) This 'bundle' lives back in my Bins folder so it doesn't have the CC star. If you ever enter one of my builds and find it has blank/unpapered walls/floors, it is because I used ones from this bundle and forgot to mention it. So, either substitute the wall/floor of your choice, or go get this bundle and re-install the lot (from your lot bin.)
