Designs for Convenient Living
This series of houses is built from plans by Richard B. Pollman (1914-1980,) from his Designs for Convenient Living Portfolios from the 1950's-70's.

| Richard Pollman was born in Kansas in 1914. He graduated from the University of Michigan in 1936, with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture. From the late 1950s to the 1970s, Mr. Pollman, with his partner, Irving Palmquist, did much to popularize the mid-century modern house design. They are credited with over 2500 mid-century modern house plans which were published in a series of popular home plan books by Home Planners, Inc. of Detroit, for which Mr. Pollman served as the president. - from the web |
