This series of houses is built from plans by Richard B. Pollman (1914-1980,) and are a part of his Designs for Convenient Living - specifically from Portfolio #43. (I couldn't find an exact publication date for Portfolio #43; but Portfolio #45 was published in 1963, and Portfolio #47 was published in 1966. So I think it is safe to say this was probably in 1961-62-ish?)
| Richard Pollman was born in Kansas in 1914. He graduated from the University of Michigan in 1936, with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture. From the late 1950s to the 1970s, Mr. Pollman, with his partner, Irving Palmquist, did much to popularize the mid-century modern house design. They are credited with over 2500 mid-century modern house plans which were published in a series of popular home plan books by Home Planners, Inc. of Detroit, for which Mr. Pollman served as the president. - from the web |
I only chose 5 plans from this Portfolio; and this is the second one, Design X 1215:
I did modify the plan a little bit by widening the bedroom hallway, and moving the bathroom... So the bedrooms are a little bigger than originally planned and there is a half bath/powder room too. I hope your simmies won't mind? 😁

I intentionally keep my builds lightly furnished - with only EAxis stuffeths - so that you can have all the fun of decorating it! (Please CC-it-up once you get it in your game!) All appliances, plumbing and lighting are included; along with smoke and burglar alarms, and telephones.
This is a clean copy of this house/lot; no sim has ever lived here.
The lot was cleaned and compressed with Chris Hatch's Lot Compressor.
The package was cleaned with Mootilda's Clean Installer.
This lot has an easily identifiable custom thumbnail too.
There is parking for three vehicles; one under the carport, and two on the long driveway.
This is a pet-ready build. Specifically, it is ready for kitties, with an included scratcher, tree, bed, toys, food, litterbox - and there is plenty of room to add whatever else you need. This lot has a 2-step foundation - so if you want to allow large dogs inside, they are going to need Simler90's Stair Mods to be able to access the 2-Step foundation.
TIP: If, when you first enter the lot, arches/doorways are not "cut through" - save, exit to the hood, and re-enter. Fixed!
