Welcome to my Sims 2 Blog!

This blog is to keep track of all my Sims 2 (TS2) stuffeths. I mostly "build" - houses, apartments, recreational, and community lots - but, I also create walls (and murals), floors, terrain paint, and various other recolors. And I've written a few tutorials too. 😁

All of my items are available through Mod the Sims - MTS2: CatherineTCJD.

Most of my stuff is also posted on Tumblr: A Peacock's Tale.

And I'm slowly adding things to Simblr: CatherineTCJD.

I also have an archive of everything I have made on SFS: CatherineTCJD.

Thank you for visiting!

~~~ No CC ~~~
I love Thai food - and the country's culture; but I don't have an ounce of Thai blood in me. I also appreciate fine architecture, which is what drew me to this floor plan. So, I did some on-line research. Here's what I got:
Quote:
The Thai term Ratchapruek-Kanjanapisek is a compound name that combines two meaningful Thai words:
Ratchapruek (Cassia fistula): Means "royal tree" and is the national flower of Thailand, also known as the Golden Shower Tree. Its vibrant yellow flowers are a significant symbol in Thai culture, representing the color of Monday, the King's birthday, and generally symbolizing solidarity, harmony, and glory.
Kanjanapisek (กาญจนาภิเษก): Is the Thai term for "Golden Jubilee". The word is derived from Sanskrit words kāñcana (gold) and abhiṣeka (anointment). It was notably used for the celebrations of the Golden Jubilee of King Bhumibol Adulyadej's accession to the throne in 1996.
The combined name "Ratchapruek-Kanjanapisek" often refers to places, roads, or projects that were named in association with the Golden Jubilee celebrations or the general auspicious symbolism of the national flower. For example, there is a major outer ring road in Bangkok called Kanchanaphisek Road, and residential developments in the area often incorporate both road names in their project titles.
Please enjoy touring the rest of this design by scrolling through all the pictures.
I intentionally keep my builds lightly furnished - with only EAxis stuffeths - so that you can have all the fun of decorating it! (Please CC-it-up once you get it in your game!) All appliances, plumbing and lighting are included; along with smoke and burglar alarms, and telephones.
This is a clean copy of this house/lot; no sim has ever lived here.
The lot was cleaned and compressed with Chris Hatch's Lot Compressor.
The package was cleaned with Mootilda's Clean Installer.
This lot has an easily identifiable custom thumbnail too.
The sun is oriented to the front.
There is parking for one vehicle, on the driveway.
This is a pet-friendly build. No pet items are included, but there is plenty of room to add what you need.
TIP: If, when you first enter the lot, arches/doorways are not "cut through" - save, exit to the hood, and re-enter. Fixed!
Definitely used but NOT included:
Get this item if you want the house to look exactly as shown in the pictures.
