Welcome to my Sims 2 Blog!

This blog is to keep track of all my Sims 2 (TS2) stuffeths. I mostly "build" - houses, apartments, recreational, and community lots - but, I also create walls (and murals), floors, terrain paint, and various other recolors. And I've written a few tutorials too. 😁

All of my items are available through Mod the Sims - MTS2: CatherineTCJD.

Most of my stuff is also posted on Tumblr: A Peacock's Tale.

And I'm slowly adding things to Simblr: CatherineTCJD.

I also have an archive of everything I have made on SFS: CatherineTCJD.

Thank you for visiting!

The 1946 Project ~ House Number 5 of 12. No CC.

Cross-posted to MTS, and Simblr.

This is: House No. 5 of The 1946 Project - a 12 house series
4 Bed/3.5 Bath/Garage
Porch/Large Deck/Large Yard
Mostly UNfurnished - No CC

These floor plans came from this book: Popular Home's Ideas Galore : how to build, buy, modernize and decorate.
Found on the Internet Archive.

In order to make the column on the back porch reach the ceiling ^ (I hate that stupid ceiling gap, EAxis!) ...I used an invisible version of the magisplay tray. If you don't have the invisible version, you will see the tray toward the bottom of the column. Either get the invisible recolor, linked below, or just delete it, if the ceiling/floor gap doesn't bother you.

This lot is mostly UNfurnished. (Please CC-it-up once you get it in your game!). Plumbing and lighting are included. As are fire alarms, a burglar alarm, and telephone.

This is a clean copy of this house/lot; no sim has ever been here. The package has been cleaned with Mootilda's Clean Installer.

USED but NOT included:
Get this if you want the lot to look exactly as shown in the pictures.
- HugeLunatic's Backless Tub/Shower
- I recommend invisifying the driveway with Sophie-David's Invisible Driveway
- AND, you will want to get Pfish's Invisible Magisplay
