Welcome to my Sims 2 Blog!

This blog is to keep track of all my Sims 2 (TS2) stuffeths. I mostly "build" - houses, apartments, recreational, and community lots - but, I also create walls (and murals), floors, terrain paint, and various other recolors. And I've written a few tutorials too. 😁

All of my items are available through Mod the Sims - MTS2: CatherineTCJD.

Most of my stuff is also posted on Tumblr: A Peacock's Tale.

And I'm slowly adding things to Simblr: CatherineTCJD.

I also have an archive of everything I have made on SFS: CatherineTCJD.

Thank you for visiting!

Classically Small Estate ~ 2 Bed/3 Bath, Garage and Pool for $100K

Originally uploaded to MTS on Dec. 30th, 2019.

Classically Small Estate

A classical design, on a small scale. This house features an open living floorplan with dining, living, and kitchen areas on the ground floor, and bedrooms on the second floor. Each of the two bedrooms has an en suite bathroom, and there is an extra full-sized "pool" bath off the garage. The garage is oversized with lots of room to add a laundry area or work-out space (right now it is utilized as an art studio.) Besides bedrooms upstairs, you will also find a study area and an entertainment/TV area.

Please scroll down through all the pictures to see everything this house has to offer. It would ideally suit a family of three.

This is a clean copy of this house/lot; no sim has ever lived here. The package has been cleaned with Mootilda's Clean Installer.

Smoke alarms are over the kitchen stove, living room fireplace, and the patio grill. The telephones are on the wall in the kitchen and in the upstairs study. There is a burglar alarm by the front door. Decorations and furniture are included - feel free to change things around to suite the needs/tastes of your sims.

A quick NOTE about side-loading garages: be sure to place the house on a corner lot so that the garage makes sense, and, because it is a sideways oriented garage, cars will teleport to the street. (You will not see the car-turning-into-the-driveway animation.)

And an after-thought about this house... I think, when I actually play this house (as opposed to testing for functionality - LOL!) I will add a back door between the barstools and the dining area. It just seems they should have another way to get to the pool without having to walk around the perimeter of the house or go through the pool bathroom... *sigh* Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
