Welcome to my Sims 2 Blog!

This blog is to keep track of all my Sims 2 (TS2) stuffeths. I mostly "build" - houses, apartments, recreational, and community lots - but, I also create walls (and murals), floors, terrain paint, and various other recolors. And I've written a few tutorials too. 😁

All of my items are available through Mod the Sims - MTS2: CatherineTCJD.

Most of my stuff is also posted on Tumblr: A Peacock's Tale.

And I'm slowly adding things to Simblr: CatherineTCJD.

I also have an archive of everything I have made on SFS: CatherineTCJD.

Thank you for visiting!

Van Gogh's Almond Blossoms ~ a Japonaiserie Wall in 3 Color Options

Originally uploaded to MTS on May 23rd, 2021.

This wallpaper design is from Vincent VanGogh, used by Milton & King.

Normality is a paved road: It’s comfortable to walk, but no flowers grow on it.
– Van Gogh

"Almond Blossom Wallpaper is an elegant floral design inspired by Japanese woodcut prints, admired by Vincent in a period that would inspire the term ‘Japonaiserie’. Almond Blossom’s subdued beauty and seamlessly perpetual pattern, drawn from Van Gogh’s masterful command of color and emotion, make this luxurious, oriental piece a magnificent addition to any interior that requires a touch of beauty and romance. Available in 3 colorways, the design features the crawling branches of the almond tree punctuated by white blossoms while peacocks with cascading feathers perch peacefully."

Shown below is the Red Lantern color variation:

Find these walls in the Wallpaper category for $4 each.
A swatch is included in the download file.
All my walls are Mac friendly. Enjoy!

PSST: Add your own trim/moulding with my Wallpaper Overlays - my overlays let you add whatever trim/moulding you want to your walls.

NOTE: The chartreuse option looks like it has a squinchy mistake - but, that is how the swatch came (it's not where I joined the seams...) I didn't notice it until I uploaded the pictures! The red and blue versions do NOT have the problem. Sorry!
