Old Farmhouse and Barn ~ 4B/4B/Gar ~ Minimal CC

This is the fourth - of about eight - in my little Farmhouse Series... And, the one that started it all. It's based on a picture I found on-line.

Just look at that gorgeous old farmhouse, pictured below! Imagine the stories it has to tell! I just had to build it for my Simmies!

I spent several years living in Kentucky, USA; during that time I visited as many farm-houses as I could. I absolutely love the mix of all the different architectural elements that many of these old houses have. A lot of them were built out of necessity - so, are very practical in their original layout. They were usually "added on to" whenever needed - so, new babies meant new additions. And when 'indoor plumbing' became more practical, bathrooms were worked in where possible - and not always where you'd expect them to be nowadays.(But hey! At least it's indoors!) If the farmer had a good harvest that year, then maybe they could take some time to 'prettify' the old place up a bit. All the work was done by hand, of course... By their hands - the people who actually lived there and used the place.
When I saw the picture on-line, I imagined what the inside must be like. I based this floor plan on the outer shape of the building, and other farmhouses I have visited. I used as little CC as I possibly could - I hope you can find some Gingerbread trim (CC) to 'prettify' it up a bit!

  

Please scroll down through all the pictures to see everything this house has to offer. The house is lightly furnished. All appliances, plumbing and lighting are included. The stove, grill, and fireplaces, all have smoke alarms. The front door is burglar alarmed. The telephone is on a central wall.

This is a clean copy of this house/lot; no sim has ever lived here. The package has been cleaned with Mootilda's Clean Installer.

There is parking for one vehicle in the garage.

This is a pet-friendly build. Pet items are not included, but there is ample space for them - two bathtubs are accessible for dog washing.

So, either substitute the wall/floor of your choice, or go get this bundle and re-install the lot (from your lot bin.)
