Here is a truly outstanding low-cost design created to return all the pride of ownership and livability a small family or retired couple would ask of a new home. Enjoy!
The floor plan comes from the book One-Story Homes, published by HomePlanners, Inc in 1991. An on-line archive of the plan is HERE.

This house is sparsely furnished. All appliances, plumbing and lighting are included. The stove and fireplace have smoke alarms. The front door is burglar alarmed. The telephone is in the family dining room (you can see it in the picture above, through the sliding door.)
This is a clean copy of this house/lot; no sim has ever lived here. The package has been cleaned with Mootilda's Clean Installer.
Thank you, Mootilda for the awesome Grid Adjuster and Lot Adjuster tools - both were used to make this lot.
There is parking for one vehicle in the garage. The driveway is shortened - so there will be no car-turning-in-the-driveway animations.
This is a pet-friendly build. No pet items are included - but there is plenty of space to add them, the tub is accessible for dog washing.
NOTE about Large Dogs: I've noted on the FloorPlan picture where the invisible SimplePassageStairs are used - these stairs are were the only way large dogs could access 2-Step foundations when I built this house. NOW large dogs can run up and down 2-Step foundations with ease using Simler90's StairMods.

Get these items if you want the house to look exactly as shown in the pictures.
- The siding is from the Lifestyle Build Bundle. (If you followed that link, it's the second link in the top post - extracted from Lifestyle Stories by Argon @ MATY) This 'bundle' lives back in my Bins folder so it doesn't have the CC star. If you ever enter one of my builds and find it has blank/unpapered walls/floors, it is because I used ones from this bundle and forgot to mention it. So, either substitute the wall/floor of your choice, or go get this bundle and re-install the lot (from your lot bin.)
- You will also need to get the Bespoke Build Set MASTER file by Honeywell/MTS2 - ...without this the Bespoke items will flash blue.
Custom Content Included
- Simple Passage Modular Stair by HugeLunatic(HL)/Sims2Artists - these need a script file so follow the link and make sure you install them properly! Or, they can be removed if you have Simler90's StairMods.
- Bespoke Build Set doors and windows by Honeywell/MTS2 - don't forget to grab the MASTER file from the link above!
