The second park area Cat tackled, under the watchful eyes of the BDC Parks and Recreation Department, was the Pavilion section:
This outdoor arena is the home of BDC's Simspeare in the Park Summer Theatre series. As such, the theatre really needed a lot of attention...
New stage lighting was added. And, the stage floor was
completely rebuilt.
Cat built new backstage areas too - including dressing rooms with showers for the actors, and an outdoor "green" room. New restroom facilities for the patrons were also built.
The pièce de résistance is a brand new, stadium seating area - complete with
comfy lawn chairs - from which you can enjoy your nap the show.
The concession/vending area now includes a photobooth too, so you can ...uhhh commemorate the occasion. 💜
All 4 parts of the BDC Park District: Central Parks have been renovated by me.
Part 1 - Central Park West
Part 2 - Central Park Pavilion (this one!)
Part 3 - Central Park
Part 4 - Central Park East
(The above pictures are from my 2014 MTS upload. I have removed Lirunchek's modern fencing from this version of the lot, but it is still visible in some of the pictures. This new 2021 Remake uses maxis fencing instead.)
