Welcome to my Sims 2 Blog!

This blog is to keep track of all my Sims 2 (TS2) stuffeths. I mostly "build" - houses, apartments, recreational, and community lots - but, I also create walls (and murals), floors, terrain paint, and various other recolors. And I've written a few tutorials too. 😁

All of my items are available through Mod the Sims - MTS2: CatherineTCJD.

Most of my stuff is also posted on Tumblr: A Peacock's Tale.

And I'm slowly adding things to Simblr: CatherineTCJD.

I also have an archive of everything I have made on SFS: CatherineTCJD.

Thank you for visiting!

Woodland Park with Swimmable Lake and Fitness Trail

Originally uploaded to MTS on June 12th, 2011.

Now UPDATED to include only 2 CC - Frillen's Invisible Tile and Flooring.

Woodland Park - now with a swimmable lake!

Besides adding the swimming capabilities and new dock, I've tweaked a few other things to my liking too: I added another chess table, expanded the playground, and added more seating everywhere. I added a few more grills and dining tables. I spruced up the bathrooms with a paint job and some mirrors. I also changed the gravel path to park-bark and transplanted a few shrubs etc, to make way for the new fitness trail.
Besides the fitness trail (that utilizes in-game exercise equipment,) there is an area to shoot hoops - both the Pleasant girls enjoyed that!
I also included a pool table in the gazebo.
...And the Human Statue dude and the Break Dancer have signed an unlimited contract, and are planning to just 'live' at the park.
Lot Size: 5X5 (same as the original Pleasantview lot)
Lot Price:  $113,858
To Install this lot: This lot can be installed anywhere, of course, but if you want it to replace of the original Woodland Park in Pleasantview - first move the original to the Lots and Houses Bin (you'll still have it, if you ever want to go back) then put this version in it's place.

Here's a great tutorial if you want to make other lakes swimmable 😁 Good luck!
