Welcome to my Sims 2 Blog!

This blog is to keep track of all my Sims 2 (TS2) stuffeths. I mostly "build" - houses, apartments, recreational, and community lots - but, I also create walls (and murals), floors, terrain paint, and various other recolors. And I've written a few tutorials too. 😁

All of my items are available through Mod the Sims - MTS2: CatherineTCJD.

Most of my stuff is also posted on Tumblr: A Peacock's Tale.

And I'm slowly adding things to Simblr: CatherineTCJD.

I also have an archive of everything I have made on SFS: CatherineTCJD.

Thank you for visiting!

1920's Vintage Design

1920's Vintage Home Design Series

This series of houses was inspired by this article: 62 Beautiful Vintage Home Designs from the 1920s - which I first read in 2020. (The article has been updated since then, but the idea is the same.) I thought a series of 100 year old houses would be fun to build... while the world was stuck at home. *sigh* 🤧

These 62 houses are hosted on MTS: 1920s Series.

Or, you can click on the pictures below to open the download page (on MTS,) and see more information and pictures about each house.

Most of these homes are on the 'smallish' side...
All of them have minimal CC.
Many feature 1-click foundations, with "dug" basements.
A few have no-slope basments.

Through doing this series, I learned how to use the Grid and Lot-Adjusters - Thank YOU Mootilda!
